Fred Negro's 3182 ETC. - the ALBUM - is out NOW!

Fred Negro's 3182 ETC.

Fred has been writing lyrics, forever productive, and they're f**king genius. So he got Rob Wellington (Peptides) to add some music. 2 years in the studio (we were busy alright!) and they churned out the best album anyone has produced since Pet Sounds!

The self-titled album (who else would we let title it?) Fred is a funny, bitter sweet love letter to St Kilda.

The arty young Fred grew up in Richmond before he found permanent residence across the river. 3182 is the postcode of St Kilda where Fred is officially known as the unofficial mayor. Fred has been playing in, AND creating posters for every venue in St Kilda through the decades, including bar murals, and has been documenting his bohemian life in Pub - a weekly strip for music magazines.

3182 ETC. is written by Fred with Rob Wellington - with the exception of I Hate The Blues, by Fred and Kim Volkman.

Fred would travel ALL the way to Rob's studio in Coburg and start singing from a HUGELY thick book of lyrics he'd been working on foir yonks. Rob would grab a guitar and figure out the chords and before you know it they had almosrt 30 songs!

Fred and Rob go back to the early days of the Crystal Ballroom (International Exiles & the Editions). They also share a stage in the Peptides - their Punk Pop tribute show.

Featured artists: Kim Volkman, Vivienne Gay, Dave Moll, Mark Carson, Adam Learner, Alan Murphy, Carl Manuell, Richard H Garth and Angela Howard.

All songs written by Fred Negro with Rob Wellington except I Hate the Blues by Fred & Kim Volkman.

Art and design by Fred Negro with Rob Wellington.
